Answering Sales Calls for New Info, Advertisement, or Product

  • When answering the phone for any call, use the following greeting.  "Good (morning/afternoon/evening)!  Behavioral Medicine, PC, This is (insert name).  How can i help you?"

  • When answering a sales call, answer the phone cordially stating your name and our business’s name. Assess whether the call is relevant and necessary to relay to Jeff or Cyndi.

  • If you believe the call beneficial or pertaining pertinent information, take a detailed message and put in the “Show to CK” folder

  • If you are unsure about the relevance of the phone call, place the caller on hold and ask Jeff.

  • If you DO NOT believe the call to be relevant or necessary to relay, thank the caller and politely communicate that we are not interested.
